Clean the Clutter Read-a-thon Mini Challenge #1
I am participating in the Clean the Clutter read-a-thon going on at The Neverending Shelf. As part of the read-d-thon there are some mini-challenges each day. The first one is to admit I have a problem with books by posting photos or describing my shelves. I thought I was going to have a problem doing this challenge at first because we are in the process of moving so all of my books are packed up (or they should be..lol) then I looked beside me at the ever growing pile of books I have accumulated since I packed up my books (not even two days ago..lol).
So yes my name is Jamie and I think I have a problem. What am I going to do about it? Well I am going to work on reading that pile of books this week so that I don't have to pack them up. After reading them I plan on posting them on paperback swap. I also plan on posting some other books that I have read and don't plan on reading again. So enough blogging I have some reading to do..lol!!

Beyond the Night sighting contest!
Joss Ware is having a Beyond the Night sighting contest http://www.josswarebooks.com/blog/!! I just finished this book and was really impressed with it. I loved the work building. The dystopya world is very fascinating and I love the characters. Here is my spotting and the description on goodreads.
A man with no future...
When Dr. Elliott Drake wakes from a mysterious fifty-year sleep, the world as he knew it is gone. Cities are now desolate, and civilization is controlled by deadly immortals. Stranger still is Elliott's extraordinary new "gift" – he has the power to heal, but it comes with fatal consequences.
A woman with a past
Jade barely escaped the immortals and is now hell-bent on revenge. She trusts no one... until Elliott. His piercing gaze and tempting touch shatter her defenses, but the handsome doctor seems to have dangerous secrets of his own. Is it safe to trust him with her heart?
If they are to survive in this dark new world, Jade and Elliott must work together to fight the forces that takes them beyond danger.
Beyond desire.
Beyond the night.
Sorry about the crap photo. It was taken with my phone. I will try to get a better one up ASAP!!

Cover Art for Dead in the Family
Charlaine Harris has posted the cover art for Dead in the Family the next book in her Sookie Stackhouse series!! I really like the whimsical style of these covers and did you notice that the male Vampire is BLONDE..lol!! I am very happy about that and I hope it means good things for my favorite sexy Vamp!! The bad thing is that we have to wait until May 2010 for it to come out :(
